Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie, born November 24 1981 is an American political commentator. Her previous roles included a presidential candidate and hosting a television show on MSNBC. She is also often a contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and co-host of The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. Enjeti and Ball have announced in the month of May that they would be leaving the show to launch their own show, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is the co-host of the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has made guest appearances on networks like CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball credits her ongoing interest in politics and her experience as a new mother during the primaries of 2008. She also viewed the US presidential election from Jordan when she was in Jordan. She was able observe how the outcome affected people in the country and, as a result, became aware of the worldwide impact US politics have on the lives of everyone around the globe. She was a Senior fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was chosen by the Democratic Party to represent Virginia's 1stCongressional District in the 2010 elections. She lost to Rob Wittman. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 through July 15, 2015. She founded the People's House Project in May 2017 to support Democratic causes.
